Dr. Grewal
Dr. Grewal has completed her Dental degree from BIDS, INDIA in 2008. Later She moved to Canada and has been licensed as a General Dentist in Ontario since 2017. She is also an active member of RCDSO and ODA. Dr. Grewal loves working with children and Seniors. She is extremely gentle, and she is happy to explain all your Treatment options in a friendly manner.
She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry with special interest in Root canals, Crown and Bridges and Oral surgery.
Dr. Grewal moved to Ottawa in 2018 and has ever since loved the vibrant city and friendly community of Ottawa. She lives with her husband and 2 kids and enjoys spending free time cooking Or exploring new places.

Dr. Elahe Memari
Dr. Elahe Memari is a distinguished general dentist with a passion for excellence and patient care. She graduated in 2009 from Yerevan Medical University, where she was a straight-A student, consistently demonstrating her dedication and proficiency in dentistry. After returning to Iran, she studied for one year at Azad University of Tehran to obtain her license to practice in Iran. During her education in Iran, Elahe took on the significant responsibility of assisting other dentists with the equivalency process, ensuring a high standard of competency and uniformity among her peers. During her studies, Elahe also found joy in teaching and mentoring junior students, helping them excel in both practical and theoretical aspects of the field.
Dr. Memari's interest in cosmetic and prosthodontics dentistry became evident early in her career. In 2011, she earned certifications in composite veneer
Techniques, and in 2024, she further specialized by obtaining a porcelain veneer certificate. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development sets her apart in the field.
Dr. Memari is renowned for her patient advocacy and support, always putting her patients' needs first. Her empathetic approach and exceptional communication skills have earned her a loyal patient base. She believes in educating her patients about their dental health, empowering them to make informed decisions.
In 2024, Dr. Memari achieved a significant milestone by receiving her Canadian license to practice dentistry after passing three difficult National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) exams. She is now excited to bring her expertise and compassionate care to a broader community, aiming to provide outstanding dental services and enhance the smiles of her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Memari enjoys staying active through hiking and yoga. She is also an enthusiastic reader, often exploring the latest research and advancements in dental technology. Her holistic approach to life and dentistry ensures that she remains at the forefront of her profession, continually striving for excellence in all that she does.
Lilya Khaleche - Dental Hygienist
Lilya graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at collége La Cité in 2015.
Lilya is fully bilingual and passionate about maintaining optimal oral health and motivating her patients to create their own oral hygiene goals.
Her Life outside the Dental Clinic includes but is not limited to Jogging, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, two kids and friends!

Valay Patel - RDH(BDS, HCA, BA)
He is a dedicated dentist from India, having completed my degree in 2017 from SP university. In 2018, He moved to Canada to further his education in Health Care Administration and Business Administration. Over the next three years, He gained valuable hands-on experience working as a dental assistant. In 2023, He completed his studies in Dental Hygiene at the Canadian National Institute of Health College, where he was honored with the Dental Hygiene Award for client care.
His primary goal is to provide the best client care possible, ensuring that all his patients receive exceptional service and leave with a smile. This commitment to client care is what brings him the greatest satisfaction in his professional life. He aspires to continually enhance his skills and knowledge in dental hygiene to stay at the forefront of the field. Additionally, He aims to make a positive impact on my community by promoting oral health awareness and education. His aspiration is to become a leading expert in dental hygiene, contributing to advancements in the field and advocating for improved oral health policies and practices.
Outside the dental field, he is passionate about sports and is a professional tennis and cricket player. He also enjoys swimming and participating in various outdoor games, which keep him active and balanced.
Alaa El Zaatari - Dental Administrator
Alaa is a very friendly and professional Dental office Adminitrator at our office. She proudly says - I love working with the “Heron Park Dental Team” because we treat each other like a family. The amount of teamwork I see between us is fascinating. In addition, she learns new and interesting things from the patients and enjoys interacting with them. She believes there is always a joy to see them satisfied after their visit to the office. She is happy to help you with all your dental insurance doubts. She speaks English and Arabic.

Wesam Alturki - RDA/Treatment Coordinator
Wesam Alturki is a dental professional who earned her initial dental degree in 1998 from Libya. Her academic journey includes a master's degree obtained in Malaysia in 2007, a TIDE fellowship from NYU College of Dentistry in 2015, and the completion of her PhD from the School of Health Professions at Rutgers University USA in 2020. Subsequently, she relocated to Ottawa, Canada, where she achieved honors in obtaining her Dental Radiology HARP certificate.
With a profound commitment to dentistry, she is proficient in english and arabic, with strong communication skills, and excels in clearly articulating treatment options and timelines to patients.
Outside of her professional pursuits, she values quality time with her friends and cherishes moments spent with her husband and four daughters.
Lila - Dental assistant
Lila is a dental assistant graduated in 2007 from an Algerian university. She worked for 14 years as a dentist in her own dental clinic. She trained in orthodontics for 18 months. Moved to Canada in October 2023, she is about to have her HARP certification. She is a perfect francophone, she speaks Arabic, English and her mother tongue Kabyle, with a strong communication skills.
Nareeman Alsari - Sterilization assistant/Floater
Nareeman Alsari is a dedicated high school senior with a strong passion for dentistry. She works as a floater/sterilization assistant at Heron Park Dental Clinic, where she finds joy in helping patients and contributing to their oral health. Fluent in both English and Arabic, Nareeman connects easily with a diverse patient base, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and understood.
Outside of her work and studies, Nareeman loves spending time with her family and is very passionate about increasing her knowledge. She constantly seeks to learn more about dentistry and related fields, fuelling her ambition to become an oral surgeon.
Malak: Your Friendly Dental Office Coordinator
Malak Yousef is currently pursuing a Biology Honours degree with a minor in Health Sciences at Carleton University, while preparing for Dental School.
At our dental office, her role is to ensure our patients fully understand their insurance coverages. Malak goes above and beyond to resolve any insurance issues, making sure every dental visit is as smooth as possible. As a hygiene treatment coordinator, she leverages her oral health knowledge to educate patients about necessary treatments for optimal oral satisfaction.
Malak always strives to connect with patients, sharing jokes and creating a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.
During her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends, unwinding and planning trips.
